Provision of measured building & topographical surveys for properties in Waterford City & County

Tender description

Waterford City & County Council is seeking tenders to carry out a series of individual measured building and topographical surveys, on various projects across Waterford City and County, over the next 36 months. These projects are primarily located throughout Waterford City Centre and include small to medium sized commercial premises, townhouses up to 4-storeys, apartment blocks, carparks, derelict sites, streets. The scope of the works will include the following: • Establish and set up ground control at a density sufficient to achieve the required accuracies. • Carry out full dimensional survey of all internal spaces; • Carry out detailed topographic and feature survey at the specified accuracy for all external elements within property boundary; • Provide plans, sections and levels for all surveyed elements; • Record spot levels at 5m intervals, for footpaths/street/public realm areas 25m either side of property boundary; • Prepare AutoCAD drawing of all features to the Irish Transverse Mercator (ITM) System; • Issue AutoCAD drawing of the dimensional and topographic survey; • Provide for keeping of survey records for a period of seven years from the date of completion of the contract All tender responses are to be submitted via eTenders, no hard copies will be accepted.
