Multi Party Framework for Design Teams for the development of the Abbey Quarter, Kilkenny

Tender description

The procurement of a Multi-Party Framework to provide Multi Disciplinary Design & Advisory Services in support of the design and delivery of new Buildings in the Abbey Quarter, Kilkenny. The multi-party framework agreement of integrated design teams will be established comprising the following disciplines: (a) Architect Services (incl. design team leads) (b) Civil & Structural Engineering Services, (c) Quantity Surveying Services, (d) Building Services Engineering and associated specialist skills, (e) Project Supervisor for the Design Process. The Integrated Design Team will be responsible for providing all construction-related technical advice and design services for the development of new buildings to be developed on the Abbey Quarter site. It is expected that the estimated value of professional services over the lifetime of the framework will be less than € 4 million. It is envisaged that the top 8 scoring Applicants (subject to the quality and number of Suitability Assessment Questionnaires (SAQs) received) who also meet the minimum criteria and rules for selection will be invited to tender for the initial contract. The framework will be established with the top 5 scoring tenderers for the initial contract. The period of the framework agreements will be for a period of four (4) years. For the avoidance of doubt, the period for delivery of any contracts awarded under the framework may extend beyond the date of expiry of the framework agreement.
