Invitation to Tender - Home Care Services for Unmet Demand in Winter 2022/23

Tender description

<p>The Council wish to procure and award a contract to appoint a Service Provider(s) to deliver the provision of a home care service in Cornwall to individuals that have been waiting for a package of care and support at home for some time and are considered high priority unmet demand.</p> <p>In December 2022, 512 individuals over the age of 65 were waiting for a adult social care package of care at home, 211 of which were are classed as high priority unmet demand, which is defined as individuals who are at home without care, in a hospital without care (acute and community), at home waiting for care while blocking a reablement service (STEPS/Home First).&nbsp;</p> <p>The Council have divided the procurement into a number of Lots, Each Lot includes a number of individuals / home care requirements and has been developed using advanced Artificial Intelligence technology to smooth out peaks and troughs during a care delivery day and optimise the Lot with the intention of improving overall system efficiencies and increasing market capacity.
