The Provision of the hire of mobile grandstands for RAF Cranwell

Tender description

The requirement is the hire of and assembly/dismantle of covered grandstand seating for the RAF Cranwell Officer Training Academy’s graduations. The expected duration of this contract will be 4 + 1 + 1, with a contract start date of January 2024. The total spectator seating will vary according to the number of cadets graduating on each occasion and could potentially be between 120 to 600 spectators. The seating capacity must be flexible and adaptable to cater for each graduation. There will be a minimum of seven graduations per year with the potential of a few additional graduation dates at an approximate interval of one every six weeks. For each graduation event grandstands will be required for delivery and assembly on a Monday (any time between 09:00 & 16:00). Dismantle and removal of stands after 16:00 hrs on Thursday. Matting will be provided and placed on site by the Authority before grandstands' assembly. The Authority will aim to provide a yearly schedule at the beginning of each year. The first year will be issued with the tender. This opportunity will be listed on the Defence Sourcing Portal.
