The Ministry of Defence (the Authority), has awarded a single source contract with a duration of 7 years with Pearson Engineering Ltd for the Repair and Refurbishment of Specialist Front End Equipment (FEE) and Obstacle Marking Equipment (OME) fitted to Heavy Track Platforms and associated assemblies. Lot 1: Babcock Land Defence Ltd acting as the agent for the UK Ministry of Defence intends to negotiate a single source contract with Pearson Engineering Ltd for the Repair and Refurbishment of Specialist Front End Equipment (FEE) and Obstacle Marking Equipment (OME) fitted to Heavy Track Platforms and associated assemblies. It is considered that this requirement can be placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the UK Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations 2011 for technical reasons. The Authority retains the right to add additional NSN’s considered to be within scope of this requirement during the duration of the contract.
