This is a contract award for Paisley Christmas- Winterfest. Renfrewshire Council (the Council) require a single Service Provider to deliver a programme of Christmas activities in Paisley town centre. The aim of the Paisley’s Christmas - Winterfest is to provide festive entertainment for the local community and drive visitor footfall to the town centre to assist local businesses. The Paisley’s Christmas - Winterfest event will include an outdoor but covered ice rink, a big wheel, a mix of fairground rides and a Christmas market. The Service Provider will project management the event. Contract Award notice for Paisley Christmas - Winterfest Renfrewshire Council will deliver a programme of Christmas activities in Paisley town centre called Paisley’s Christmas. The aim of Paisley’s Christmas is to provide festive entertainment for the local community and drive visitor footfall to the town centre to assist local businesses. Paisley’s Christmas - Winterfest is a key component of the event and the Council has awarded to the Contract to a Service Provider to deliver, manage and provide the following facilities: an outdoor ice rink, a big wheel, carousel or other showpiece ride, a mix of fairground rides and a selection of food and beverage units, this will be called Paisley’s Christmas – Winterfest. As part of this Contract for Paisley’s Christmas – Winterfest, the Service Provider will fully project manage this element of Paisley’s Christmas.
