Bridgetown to Kilmore Quay Greenway Phase 2 - Stage (i) Preliminary Design and Planning related consultancy services framework

Tender description

Wexford County Council proposes to establish a shared walkway or greenway connecting the rural village of Bridgetown with Kilmore Quay, both located in South County Wexford. This 8.5km walkway or greenway proposes to utilise the existing surface of tow-paths on the banks of the canals and drainage systems, other corridors will include some area of open third-party agricultural fields and public roads. Wexford County Council (WCC) now proposes to appoint a design team for the service delivery, of Stage (i) Preliminary Design and Planning process. The Council shall make a single appointment, and the appointed firm will be responsible for engaging directly and necessary sub-consultant as required (e.g. structural/services engineers, quantity surveyors, ecology specialists, etc.). However, as part of this tender a Single-Party framework agreement for Design and Planning Related Consultancy Services will also be set up for future tenders for stages (ii) to (v).
