Adult Mental Health Recovery and Rehabilitation Support at Home Service

THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION: The London Borough of Bromley (‘The Council’) and NHS South East London Integrated Commissioning Board (‘ICB’) are currently reviewing the future design and procurement of an Adult Mental Health Recovery and Rehabilitation Support @Home Service. The proposed service is an important part of the Council’s and NHS’s strategic vision to maintain people’s independence in their own home and to support people who access mental health services away from the reliance on hospital and residential vision towards more enabling and cost-effective services. This will include a range of services including: Prevention and early intervention Services Multi-disciplinary approach to treatment Complex and long term support; and Recovery and rehabilitation services. The current contractual arrangement for the provision mental health support services is due to expire in the Autumn of 2024, and therefore the Council and ICB anticipate commencing the procurement of the Service in September 2023. As part of the procurement process, the Commissioners of this Service are keen to capture provider experience, skills, knowledge and concerns to ensure that these can be fully considered before commencement of the procurement. Therefore, the Council and ICB are undertaking a market engagement event which will be held virtually via MS Teams on Wednesday 23rd August 2023 commencing at 10.30am to 12 noon. To participate in the market engagement event, interested Providers are requested to complete the Registration Form which can be downloaded from the attachments section of this advert and upload the completed form via the Message Function on ProContract no later than Midday on Monday 21st August 2023. Participants will then receive a MS Teams invite and provide joining instructions. Please note: This market engagement event will not formally begin the procurement process or constitute any commitment by the London Brough of Bromley or NHS South East London Integrated Commissioning Board. Potential participants will not be prejudiced by any response or failure to respond to the Engagement Event. Potential participants must also note that a response to this request does not guarantee an invitation to participate in this or any future procurement that the London Borough of Bromley or NHS South East London Integrated Commissioning Board may conduct. Any procurement of the supply of services will be carried out strictly in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
