Tender description
The contract is to appoint a Contractor to receive waste and recycling collected by MCC or its contractors at their licensed sites. The Contractor will also collect waste such as large fly tips which may require a grab wagon or other large equipment to collect and transport. The Contractor is also expected to have an indoor area where dry recycling such as paper and card can be tipped. Insourcing of such a contract is not viable as the council has no licenced waste facilities or technical expertise to run and manage a waste and recycling site.
