Tender description
Heywood Civic Centre is a multi-purpose entertainment and meeting venue that sits in the heart of Heywood’s civic area. It is operated by charity ‘Your Trust’, in partnership with Rochdale Borough Council.The existing building has fully equipped stage facilities and is used to host live music and theatre productions, along with hosting local events and leisure activities. The scheme looks at rebranding Heywood Civic Centre, refurbishing the existing building internally, and externally to include a small extension to create a new entrance and reconfigured internal plan, to create a more accessible, efficient and flexible space. The project is to be part funded by Arts Council England Capital Investment Programme alongside Rochdale Borough Council and some fundraisers.
