Lakeside Country Park - Gravel Track resurfacing

Tender description

We are looking for a gravel overlay of an existing self-binding gravel track over approximately 850m with a width varying from 1.5-2.5m. The work will include ~50m where the level of the track will need to be raised ~100mm with timber revetments and provision will need to be made for 7 small drainage culverts around the route. We also require the installation of a new gravel and timber revetted access ramp, approximately 20m in length and providing no more than a 10% gradient alongside a renewal of the existing sleeper and gravel stairs. See attached briefing document for further delivery requirements of the works The current surface material is known as Hampshire Red or Romsey Red self-binding path gravel previously supplied by WH Berry Ltd, the availability of which is currently unknow so colour matching alternatives might need to be sought. We are looking for the work to be carried out between September and October 2023 and require the quote to be broken down into a cost for the track and drainage work and a cost for the ramp installation.
