IT2458C UL RFT for the Supply of Specialised Drupal Web Hosting Services

Tender description

UL has a large website ecosystem which comprises of a main Drupal site as well as a number of stand-alone sites in alternative technologies. Integral to the success of the website is the analytics platform Matomo which provides the university with invaluable information on how to improve the website for its users. In addition, technologies are used to help monitor compliance with regulations in areas such as ePrivacy and cookies. The university is now seeking a provider to host and maintain the website infrastructure. The key requirements are: • Providing a secure and performant, GDPR compliant Drupal hosting within the EU, including carrying out all monitoring, maintenance and upgrades of servers and databases. • Undertaking all Drupal software upgrade and maintenance duties, including prompt application of security updates of Drupal core and modules via robust deployment pipelines with version control. • Overseeing maintenance of compliance of the website with EU regulations around cookies and ePrivacy. • Providing secure hosting, maintenance, and custom configuration of the Matomo Analytics platform • Providing comprehensive support for all aspects of the infrastructure covered above.
