GB-Cambridge: UKRI-3213 BAS Refurbishment of the Polar Sediment Core Laboratories

Tender description

UKRI wishes to upgrade and improve the laboratory facilities at the BAS Cambridge property. The scope of works will involve the strip out and demolition of a selection of the labs, followed by a new fit-out with enhanced facilities for the laboratories. The works will consist of new building services, to include, heating, lighting ventilation with new electrical and water distribution. The building fabric will be including new ceiling, wall and floor finishes, along with new external windows and internal doors. In early 2023, the area has been stripped out of all furniture and equipment including building services and building fabric finishes. There may be some minor elements of removal required such as the lifting beam and associated services
