Environmental Management System - Internal Audit System

Tender description

To support the Council aims and ambitions for the EMS it has been recognised that there is a need for specialist knowledge that the Council doesn’t currently have internally. Therefore, the decision has been made for the Council to seek a Consultant to give advice and expertise on: 1) A suitably qualified auditor trained in ISO 14001:2015 to carry out the annual internal system audit of our Environmental Management System 2) Conduct one annual audit of the Housing & Neighbourhood EMS internal systems with a full report with findings and recommendations (Starting from August 2023) 3) Provide quarterly Environment, Health, and Safety Legal updates that covers relevant legislation and regulatory requirements to operate an EMS 4) The term will be for a three-year period 5) The Council may wish to use your expertise on occasions when specialist knowledge is required / when problems are encountered. This service will be priced separately to the main specification and will be available as a non-exclusive call off which will be valid until the contract term.
