City Centre Water Feature Servicing

BACKGROUND TO THE OPPORTUNITY There are currently five individual water features within Sheffield City Centre, varying in size, age and complexity. The day-to-day maintenance of the water features is carried out by SCC staff. This includes water quality testing, daily maintenance of plant & equipment and cleaning of features. Specialist servicing requirements are to be fulfilled by contractor. Included in this is programmed servicing of plant & equipment, electrical works, responsive repairs, technical support and annual servicing of balance tanks, water features and sand filters. DURATION- 1 year with option of extending a further 2 year (up to 3 years in total) SCOPE- The works comprise of the specialist servicing and maintenance of five city centre water features, including servicing of plant & equipment, electrical works, responsive repairs, technical support and annual servicing of balance tanks, water features and sand filters. Due to limited storage on site, all goods and supplies should be ordered for immediate use. The client should be notified by email or phone call at least 24hrs in advance of and expected deliveries. The Council needs to know about all transactions carried out as part of the Contract. You therefore need to tell us in your tender how you will provide the Council with an auditable record of work completed under this contract. As a minimum we need to know the following data:- • Dates and times that contractor attended each site • A record of monthly maintenance operations carried out at the end of each visit to site • A breakdown of all parts and materials to be recharged to client
