Tender description
Supply of class 158/9 Engine & Gearboxes. Lot 1: NTL lease 10 2-car Eversholt Class 158/9 units on a dry lease. NTL are responsible for procuring new engines and gearboxes as required through the lease. The supplier of overhauled powertrain components is LH (A division of Wabtec UK). Eversholt do not hold a float of powertrain components for their own fleet, and so Porterbrook allow NTL to utilise their float to support powertrain changeouts.
