The Authority is committed to ensuring that Victims of Crime have access to a broad range of support services locally to help them cope with and, as far as possible, recover from the effects of crime. Aims and Objectives of the Activities The Recipient shall provide, or commission dedicated emotional and practical support services for victims of domestic abuse and/or sexual violence to help them cope and, as far as possible recover from the effects of domestic abuse and sexual violence. Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Victim Support Services The Recipient shall provide or commission victim support services for victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence utilising the ringfenced funding of £138,003.00 The Grant may be used to support existing victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence or new referrals, may cover any associated costs that arise in the process of commissioning or providing these services and provide support for a particular group such as victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence with protected characteristics. The Grant specifies £33,203.00 per year to be provided to Involve Lighthouse Centre (via Wirral MBC), £66,406 over 2 years (23/24, 24/25). The funding is ringfenced to this provider.
