Tender for the Appointment of a Consultant to Design an Innovative Net Zero Carbon Housing Solution

Tender description

Powys County Council on behalf of the 14 partners of the Delivering Net Zero Project, are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified supplier, or a group of suppliers acting together as a consortium, to design, test and warrant a net zero carbon housing solution. The design should be based upon timber, employ modern methods of construction (MMC), and achieve net zero carbon in terms of construction, and in terms of operation from 2030. The Council expects that a collaborative approach will be required to deliver a solution that fully meets the requirements, and will need to involve architects, engineers, timber frame manufacturers, and contractors. Collaboration will also be required with the Delivering Net Zero Project and it's partners.
