The project focuses on ITMA’s ‘Digitisation Project’ (DP). (a) Deepening North/South cooperation through the preservation of, and engagement with, our shared cultural inheritance and traditions (b) Sharing international best archival practice with diverse local community archives (c) Sharing ITMA’s digitisation capabilities with local amateur archivists from diverse communities (d) Educating, connecting, and empowering artists, archivists from diverse communities As such, this part of the DP focuses on the design and installation of a state-of-the-art digitization studio at ITMA’s premises at 73 Merrion Square. The development of the digitization studio supports the goals of the larger DP by: • Providing a facility for preservation of shared cultural inheritance through digitisation • Lot 1: The project focuses on ITMA’s ‘Digitisation Project’ (DP).
