SPS-10844 Staff Alarm Replacement at HMP Perth

Tender description

This Contract shall provide for the design, supply and installation of a new combined staff radio and alarm system for HMP Perth. The new installation shall be based upon a TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio system). The Contractor shall utilise equipment supplied by SPS, to complete an integrated staff alarm system using a separate but complimentary wireless mesh. The technical hardware (including all aerials, charging racks, cell enhancers and ancillary equipment) required for the new integrated system shall be procured directly by the SPS and free issued to the Contractor. The Contract requires the existing staff radio and staff alarm systems to operate in its entirety until the new system is installed/commissioned and accepted by the SPS. Once this is achieved the existing systems in its entirety where realistic and practicable shall be decommissioned and removed.
