Tender description

The University of East Anglia Staff Superannuation Scheme (the "Scheme") is a defined benefit scheme providing benefits to some of the staff of the University of East Anglia. The scheme is closed to new members but is open for future accrual of benefits. Directors are appointed by the Council of the University of East Anglia, and we are currently seeking a Professional Trustee to act as a Director to replace the Chair on their retirement. Retirement is due on or before 22 November 2023 (subject to three months' notice). We expect the Professional Trustee will become Chair of the Trustee. The Scheme intends to appoint a trustee for an initial contract term of three years, with possible extensions of up to three years. The contract value will not exceed the Public Contracts threshold of £213,477.00 in total.
