EMPLOYERS AGENT SERVICES FOR NEWTOWNARDS LAND, DESIGN & BUILD COMPETITION

Tender description

Radius Housing (Radius) is seeking to select an Employers Agent, multi-disciplinary teams to assist in the delivery of Land, Design and Build projects (package deals where a developer provides the site, designs, builds and completes the project) arising out of successful bids being received for the competition run by Radius Housing Association in the Newtownards area (FTS Notice Number 2023/S 000-017207). It is anticipated that a minimum of 1 scheme will be forthcoming from this competition and will deliver circa 95 units, however other schemes may also be procured from the above referenced tender. Each Employers Agent Team must include an Architect and Quantity Surveyor providing the service in conjunction with each other. Either discipline may take the role as lead consultant for the purposes of the provision of the services; the other discipline will act as the Lead Consultant’s Sub Consultant. The Consultant leading the Services shall be the lead consultant and shall be solely responsible for management of and delivery by all key “sub-consultants” (i.e. those who fulfil the other appropriate design disciplines). A summary of the services that the appointed Employers Agent will be required to provide are identified below (full details are provided in the Scope of Services): - Evaluation of Tender Competitions and Preparation of a Tender Report. - Assisting the Association to ensure that bids attain all statutory and regulatory approvals. - Preparation of Contract Documents - Administration of the contract on behalf of the Employer - Other duties as provided by an Employers Agent on similar schemes The programme for services required for each individual project under the Appointment of an Employers Agent will vary in duration. The Contracting Authorities make no representation and provide no guarantee or warranty as to the quantity, value or nature of the Services that will be issued under the Contract.
