Domestic abuse support for children and young people

Tender description

This contract is for an organization to offer a series of group sessions and a number of one to one support sessions with children and young people experiencing domestic abuse of different ages, as this has been identified as an ongoing need by the Council’s internal and commissioned family support services, particularly in light of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic which has exacerbated relationship breakdowns in a number of families. This work will complement the current offer of domestic abuse support being commissioned via Public Health, giving families a wider range of choice in terms of support and assuring that current levels of demand are being met. There will be an expectation for the provider to work closely with other partners delivering domestic abuse support to children, young people and families in the borough to ensure this offer complements the broader offer of support.
