Domestic Abuse Refuge Support and Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy service

Tender description

The service is to provide temporary accommodation and support for women aged 16 years and above including their children (where applicable) who are subjected to domestic abuses. The proposed procurement consists of two elements: a) providing accommodation and support in a purpose built 21-bed refuge accommodation (Refuge); b) providing independent domestic violence advocacy (IDVA) and independent sexual violence advocacy (ISVA) support for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence targeting high-risk survivors of domestic and sexual violence and children at risk of harm with the primary object of securing their safety. The duration of the Contract will be for an initial three (3) years term with the option to extend for a further two extensions with each extension having two (2) year terms (total 3+2+2 = 7 years) subject to satisfactory performance and availability of resources and subject to a lawful termination of the Contract in accordance with the provisions of the Terms and Conditions of Contract.
