Renewable Energy and Battery Provision

Tender description

Heart of Yorkshire Education Group wishes to maximise renewable energy opportunities at our Wakefield and Selby Colleges. We are looking to appoint a contractor to install PV on viable roofs of our buildings and install a battery storage that would act as critical power supply to the Groups IT infrastructure at our Wakefield College. The estimated roof space at Wakefield College is 2047m2 and Selby College 1283m2. All interested parties should contact Andrew Priestley via email at apriestley@wakefield.ac.uk before 14th July 2023 to register an interest. A site visit will be available to interested parties on 19th July 2023 at 10:00 am at Wakefield College and 13:00 at Selby College. Additional information: A site visit on 14th July will be led by Andrew Priestley and will allow you access to all available roofs. A further competition will be held to appoint a contractor by no later than 31st August 2023. Please note compliance to Heart of Yorkshire Education Group Control of Contractors policy is mandatory for these works.
