Prior Information Notice (PIN) – Communal Cleaning Services – Market Engagement Event

Orbit Group Ltd is issuing this prior information notice to invite companies to participate in the market engagement event in support of Orbits upcoming requirements for the provision of communal cleaning services. The provision of these services will relate to works carried out on all Orbit Estates across its property portfolio in the Midlands, East and South. Orbit Group Ltd would like to invite interested parties to attend a market engagement event to be on 4th July 2023 at 13:30. The event will consist of a remote briefing providing you with an outline of the opportunity. Please see below for details of how to submit an expression of interest (EOI). Lot 1: The scope of this ‘Expression of Interest’ covers Communal Cleaning Services in the Midlands, East and South consisting of: c.510 estates across the Midlands, c.210 assets across the East and c.814 assets across the South. Potential suppliers whom have the capability to fulfil each of the below key requirements to Orbit’s portfolio, are invited to express their interest: (i) Empty Litter Bins/Dust Bins/Insert New Bag (ii) Clean Bin Store (iii) Reporting of Refuse/Bulk Refuse (iv) Dust Ledges/Railings/Skirtings (v) Wash Ledges/Railings/Skirtings/Fixtures/Surfaces (vi) Wipe Down and Spot Clean Walls (vii) Dust/Wipe Communal Lighting (viii) Clean Glass Partitions and Barriers (ix) Clean Doors (x) Cleaning of Block Signage & Noticeboards – Internal & External (xi) Wash External Ledges/Railings/Gates (xii) Sweep Floors/Ground Surfaces (xiii) Vacuum (xiv) Mop Floors Potential suppliers who respond to the PIN will be invited to a briefing presentation, hosted by Orbit via Teams on 4th July 2023 from 13:30 until 14:30, where Orbit shall present and discuss in more detail its objectives and requirements. Currently there is no need to register for the tendering process but responding to the PIN allows the Contracting Authority (Orbit) to keep you continuously informed about the activities relating to appointing supplier(s) for Communal Cleaning. At this current time, it is envisaged that the opportunity will be tendered, by way of subdivision into lots however this in no way guarantees that any subsequent tender will be tendered by way of subdivision into Lots. Non-participation in this market engagement will not be taken into account in any future procurement activities and will not exclude any organisation from submitting a tender in any future competitions. The contracting authority considers that this scope may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs) as well as large enterprises. All ‘Expressions of Interest’ must be submitted through the Orbit Pro-Contract ‘Housing Procurement Portal’ (https://www.housingprocurement.com) by fully completing and uploading the document attached to the portal ‘Expression of Interest Response — Communal Cleaning June 23’ by no later than 12:00 noon (GMT) on 3rd July 2023.
