Tender description

The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Council is seeking a new leisure operator for its leisure services to ensure the council can continue to provide high-quality and affordable leisure services for the residents within the borough and provide a financial return to the borough to invest in core services. The Council's vision is to make Barking and Dagenham "A place people are proud of and want to live, work, study and stay". The Council would like to engage with the market on its future requirements for leisure services management and its procurement strategy and are carrying out soft market testing from all interested suppliers via a questionnaire. The deadline for operators to complete their response to the soft market questionnaire is 12 noon on Friday 7th July 2023.
