Carmarthenshire County Council Leisure Services division covers a range of facilities within the sport and leisure, cultural services, and outdoor recreation sector. Most services/activities provided are public facing and are delivered from within a building. We have facilities across Carmarthenshire ranging from Country Parks, Leisure Centres and Theatres to Libraries, Museums, and cultural attractions. Some of our facilities, mainly our leisure centres, theatres and Country Parks have catering provision on site in the form of café/restaurants and at present there is a limited vending offer available. This is mainly in our leisure centres and equates to no more than a couple of machines that are currently being self-filled by staff on site and are not tied into existing contracts. The aim of the vending is to complement the existing on-site café facilities and increase secondary spend opportunities but not to compete with or deter purchases from the main food and beverage offerings within the centres, theatres and Country Parks have catering provision on site in the form of café/restaurants and at present there is a limited vending offer available. This is mainly in our leisure centres and equates to no more than a couple of machines that are currently being used in our facilities.
