T2358 Dynamic Purchasing System for Supply of Food Products for Belfast City Council

The Council invites Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced economic operators ‘Bidders’ for inclusion on a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the supply, delivery and off loading of Food products for Belfast City Council. The Food DPS is split into 9 categories (Lots) outlined below: Category 1 – Meat and Poultry Category 2 - Fruit and Vegetables Category 3 – Fish Category 4 - Dairy Products Category 5 - Ambient Food Category 6 - Raptor/reptile and live animal food Category 7 - Lucerne Category 8 - Hay and Straw Category 9 - Dry Animal Food Belfast Zoo is one of Belfast’s premier attractions set against the backdrop of Cave Hill situated on the Antrim Road. The health and welfare of the animals in the Zoo is of the utmost importance and to this end the Council expects a supply of quality fruit, vegetables and other general food products. The Catering Unit within the Council currently run several sites across Belfast including City Hall. The main operation runs form the Cecil Ward Building at 4–10 Linenhall Street in Belfast. The Catering Unit supplies food and beverages for a trolley service, staffed events and function catering to these sites and will at times supply other departments wholesale products.
