Provision of Specialist Substance Misuse Services (Community & Residential)

Tender description

West Sussex County Council invites tenders for the provision of a county-wide substance misuse service for both community and residential provision. The Service comprises both an integrated, county wide and all age drug and alcohol service and an inpatient detoxification and residential rehabilitation services for people with higher risk alcohol and/or drug dependencyThe contract will commence on 1 October 2023 for an initial period of 5 years with options to extend by a period or periods not exceeding 2 years (maximum 7 years). The total contract value will be between £40m and £41.3m over the 7 year period.The Service will be based on an assessment of local need. It will build on an already successful approach to increase the number of people accessing and being maintained in treatment and recovery services, and to reducing harms caused by drug and alcohol use.
