Project Controls Team for Rapid Build Surgical Hubs located at Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford

The HSE are developing Surgical Hubs in key locations on-site or on sites operated under the governance of Model 4 hospitals modelled on the Reeves Centre at Tallaght University Hospital. The locations selected include Cork University Hospital, University Hospital Waterford, Merlin Park University Hospital and University Hospital Limerick (city centre location) The Surgical Hubs will range in size between 2,500 sq.m to 3,000 sq.m and will include the following core support areas: • 2 Nr Operating Theatres (including Anaesthetic, Prep and Dirty Utility Rooms) and all associated Theatre Department support and storage areas. • 2 Nr Procedure Rooms • Post operative recovery (9 beds) Stage 1 • Post operative recovery Stage 2 (including walkthrough procedures) • Consultant exam rooms • Main reception and waiting • Staff facilities • Public / Patient toilet facilities and changing facilities • Discharge lounge • Coffee shop The works are to be delivered through a rapid build construction solution and are to be complete and operational by Q4 2024.
