Tender description

The Government of Jersey Health & Community Services (HCS) is seeking information via a Request of Information (RFI) process to help develop its understanding of existing solutions prior to going out to market formally to purchase an IT solution to support the Island’s Primary Care Services (PCS). Primary care is often the first point of contact for people in need of healthcare, usually provided by professionals such as GPs, dentists and pharmacists. Primary Care is pivotal to the delivery of high quality, integrated health and social care in Jersey. GPs are responsible for delivering an array of services to individuals with both acute and chronic disease and are the gateway to many further services on and off island, in hospital and the community. A Primary Care System is required to support GP surgeries and community care organisations to manage the care record of their patients, supporting the provision of patient centred safe and effective care.
