Legal Adviser for procurement of a Private Sector Partner (AMIDS Project)

Tender description

The Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced legal adviser to advise and support with the development, procurement, negotiation and delivery of a private sector partner to deliver commercial development at Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland (AMIDS), in conjunction with the Commercial Property Adviser appointed by the Council. Renfrewshire Council is conducting an open tender procedure for below OJEU threshold services contracts to procure a legal adviser to advise and support the Council and appointed Commercial Property Adviser with the procurement and appointment of a private sector partner for the development of the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland (AMIDS) site. The Legal Adviser is required to provide legal advice on the delivery structure options proposed by the Commercial Property Adviser for a private / public sector development arrangement and support the Council with the legal process required to draft and conclude all required legal documentation with the Preferred Partner and others on conclusion of the procurement process. The scope is split into gateways and stages aligned to the anticipated procurement process for the AMIDS Private Sector Partner procurement and the Council reserves the right to suspend or terminate the contract at the conclusion of any stage at the Council's sole discretion.
