Tender description

Currently the foul sewer and surface water (SW) drainage systems in the West Park area adjacent to St Aubin’s Road (La Route de St Aubin) in St Helier, Jersey, discharge into the foul sewer system. The inclusion of surface water with the sewage increases flows in the sewers, increasing sewage treatment costs at Bellozanne STW and takes up capacity of the sewerage system. The scheme will separate the surface water from the foul sewer system in order to improve surface water management in the area of West Park, Jersey. This will involve constructing a new surface water drainage system that would collect the surface water in the West Park area and discharge this direct to sea (St Aubin’s Bay).
