As a Combined Authority we add value to the local education system by complementing the work of individual local authorities, Trusts and schools, encouraging and supporting schools to develop innovative ideas and practice, identifying what is working well and helping to spread this across the system, and acting as an honest broker and facilitator connecting schools and trusts across the region to each other and key partners such as employers and health. We are seeking a partner to deliver a whole-school oracy project to support up to 100 schools from all phases across North of Tyne. This will include a dedicated whole-school approach to oracy and additional support specially designed to meet local priorities and provide networking and best-practice sharing opportunities. We anticipate offering this opportunity to all schools across the North of Tyne footprint, via an open call and the submission of expressions of interest.
