NO: 23-03 Supply, Installation, Removal and Re-installation of Through Floor Lifts in Domestic Premises

Tender description

The Northern Health and Social Care Trust (the Contracting Authority) is seeking to appoint up to two Contractors to a framework, under which the Contracting Authority may enter into Call-off Contracts for the Survey, Supply, Installation and Recovery of Through Floor Lifts / Step Lifts / Platform Type lifts in Domestic Premises, as prescribed by Northern Health and Social Care Trusts Occupational Therapists. Successful tenderers shall be appointed to the framework for a period of two years plus a one year plus one year extension. It is anticipated that any Call-off Contracts awarded shall have a term of up to two years plus a one year plus one year extension, subject to the terms of the relevant Call-off Contract. The Framework and any Term Service Contract will involve the design and installation of Through Floor Lifts / Step Lifts / Platform Type lifts and associated building, mechanical, electrical and asbestos works. The Economic Operators shall be appointed as Principal Designer and Principal Contractor in compliance with the CDM Regulations (NI) 2016. The Economic Operators awarded Contracts may be awarded Call-off Contracts under which they shall deliver the service, which shall include, but not limited to: • Survey (Including Design); • Supply; • Installation; • Recovery; • Storage; • Reinstallation; and • Routine Servicing (during warranty period); • Planned Maintenance (during warranty period); • Untoward Maintenance (during warranty period); of Through Floor Lifts / Step Lifts / Platform Type lifts in Domestic Premises. Anticipated spend in region of £300,000 - £350,000 per annum, however there is no guarantee on the volume of work or spend.
