Market Information Event: UKSPF People and Skills

GMCA are commissioning a programme targeted at economically inactive GM residents, and those furthest away from the labour market under new UKSPF People & Skills devolved funding. With a contract value of c£10million, we will procure a lead provider to deliver a merged over 50’s and complex needs programme. This programme will deliver the main UKSPF People and Skills programme of activity by using a key worker model to triage and offer a suite of intervention to support engagement and distance travelled. There will be a dedicated focus on the over 50’s with a specialist over 50s service offer embedded within the service. We will be holding a market information session on 26th June 2023. Information that will be covered will include what we are looking to procure; how your organisation can apply; and what we will be looking for in bids as well as providing guidelines on the procurement process. Please note that to apply as a lead provider under this funding your organisation will need to be approved to deliver programmes worth over £6m on the Education, Work & Skills Flexible Procurement System. However, organisations without this level of approval (including organisations not registered on the Flexible Procurement System) can still be part of a supply chain with a lead provider and are encouraged to attend as there will be a facilitated networking session as part of the event, to stimulate collaboration and partnership/supply chain opportunities.
