Tender description

East Suffolk Council (ESC), on behalf of the Suffolk Housing Board (SHB) is looking to commission an independent housing specialist service to undertake full external review to set out the policy levers, operational structures and market interventions required to make sure councils are doing all they can to get people into suitable accommodation. Working with all the Local Authorities, the advisor will identify both the policies that are a barrier to accommodating people and gaps in policies where accommodation solutions could be encouraged. They will also consider the way authorities operate by reviewing processes and engaging with private rental sector landlords and homeowners to see if improvements can be made.
