Tender description

Provision of Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Hampshire County Council, and Isle of Wight Council wish to commission a Supplier(s) to deliver a Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service to cover both authority areas. The aim of the Service is to assist the authorities in delivering their specific duty to provide information, advice and a support service to children, their parents and carers and young people with SEND, as defined in Parts 19 and 32 of the Children and Families Act 2014. The authorities are working with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight, and Frimley NHS Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) for the purpose of defining this Service. Lot 1: The procurement route is likely to be based on an Open Procedure process and will be confirmed via the ITT instructions when they are published. An initial contract term of 3 years and 3 months is proposed from 1st January 2024. (Additional 3 months in order to bring the annual contract into line with financial years.) There is likely to be the option to extend for 1+1 years.
