Newry, Mourne and Down District Council's ("The Council") Tourism Arts & Culture Department oversees a series of annual signature events varying in nature, scale and location. At present, these events include Wake the Giant Festival, Eats and Beats Festival, Footsteps in the Forest, St Patrick's Day and Christmas Switch-on/Christmas Market events. However, as the Council continually hones its events offering new events may be developed and incorporated into the Events Programme during the contract and existing events may be adapted or removed.
