Air Pollution Digital Training Resource for Health Practitioners

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council (TWBC) is looking to procure an innovative digital training resource to be used by healthcare practitioners across Kent and Medway to advise patients with health problems on how to reduce their exposure to air pollution. The aim is for the healthcare practitioners to integrate information on air pollution into routine practice and create a community across Kent and Medway to support continuous professional development and future collaboration. Suppliers should note that this is an opportunity for them to showcase their ideas and capabilities to us. Whilst the aims of the project are quite fixed, there is considerable flexibility regarding the means, and scope to develop the best ideas after the contract is awarded. The idea is for you to show us what you can offer. The digital training resource will explain: • What air pollution is, including the different pollutants • Sources of air pollution • Why air pollution is bad for your health • How to reduce personal to air pollution. The digital training resource will deliver: • Training, local evidence and resources for practitioners • Information and resources to patients and the wider public.
