Tender description
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) (The Commissioner) would like to notify the market of a potential opportunity to provide initial health services for people seeking asylum and invite all interested providers to participate in an early market assessment questionnaire.<br/><br/>Please note the deadline for expressions of interest is 12:00PM on Friday 16th June 23. Lot 1: The Service will need to undertake and perform the following;<br/><br/>1. Patient registrations on clinical system<br/>2. Provision of on site initial health assessment for new arrivals (non detained) N.B dedicated premise space / areas to support the delivery of health care services onsite, will be provided.<br/>3. Provision of ongoing health care needs <br/>4. Referral to other pathways as required / appropriate<br/>5. Collaborative working with other system partners (multi agency) - screening services, health protection, mental health etc<br/>6. Access to services will be as indicated in the specification and will need to be appropriate to the level of need. <br/>7. Majority of care will require to be f2f with potential opportunities for remote access <br/>8. Reception / admin support will be required<br/>9. Issuing of prescriptions / dispensing<br/><br/>Note these requirements of service provision are subject to change.<br/><br/>The contract type will be APMS or similar.<br/><br/>Key points for consideration for interested providers are:-<br/><br/>1. Must be a current provider of health care services. <br/>2. Must already be CQC registered.<br/>3. Must have available or access to workforce capacity to provide onsite services. <br/>4. Ability to mobilise quickly (for example within 2-4 weeks)<br/><br/>The key desirables for the service are: - <br/><br/>1. Have an understanding of the additional health needs of people seeking asylum.<br/>2. Desirable use of TPP Systmone.<br/>3. Experience of providing similar service/s i.e. detained / justice; support to other migration and resettlement programmes.<br/><br/>A draft specification is available in the documents area of the e-tendering portal Attamis (project code: C169316). Please note, the draft specification is subject to change as the service requirements are subject to Home Office direction.<br/><br/>The Contracting Authority will be using an eTendering system for this market engagement exercise. Additional information: If more than one compliant provider registers an interest for this opportunity, meets the requirements set out in this notice, and the questionnaire, then the ICB may set out details for a competitive process.<br/><br/>Should only one provider register an interest and meet the requirements, the ICB reserve the right to award to that provider without further publication following due diligence checks.
