CO0338 ESCA Practice Educator Professional Standards (PEPS)

Tender description

The aim of this PEPS provision is to provide experienced Social Work Practitioners with the skills and knowledge required to coach, mentor, supervise and assess Social Work Students, Newly Qualified Social Workers in their learning environments. This will enable qualified Practice Educators to mentor Social Workers engaged in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities. It should provide pathways to support Practice Educators to achieve level 2 Practice Education Professional Standards (PEPS). There is a requirement for the Higher Education Institution (HEI) to have in place an academic pathway to enable Practice Educators who currently hold their PEPS Level 1 professional award to progress to PEPS Level 2.
