Tender description

Handheld and mountable torch(s) with infra red filters for use from the aircraft cabin. Capabilities required: (1) Be Visible light and IR capable- with an option to switch between modes simply in flight without risk of loss if delivered using an IR filter solution. (2) Be capable of at least 4000-lumens. (3) Be effective out to at least 1500m. (4) Be immune to impact and vibration and waterproof. (5) Be powered by internal battery for no less than 60 minutes. (6) Be charged and/or powered from aircraft electrical outlets allowing role fit as standard. (7) Be securable to the aircraft in a holstered-fashion to ensure it is always available for use. (8) Be fitted with a tether to prevent loss when used in aircraft open doors. (9) Be mountable to M134 Crew Served Weapon using M1913 rail with option for remote activation using weapon mounted switch. (10) Be suitable for use single handed and weigh less than 2.5 kgs. (11) Have a built in power level indicator.
