Which phase the project is in Discovery Existing team Hackney Council as lead council, support from Woking Council, Redbridge Council, Greenwich Council, Adur and Worthing Council, Kingston and Sutton Council. Address where the work will be done 1 Hillman Street, London E8 1DY Working arrangements There is an expectation that the team will need to work in the Hackney council office at least 1 day a week, or more depending on how the team decides to deliver the work. This is to ensure good collaboration with the Hackney Council product team, and engagement with Housing and Benefits Services. Provide more information about your security requirements: No security clearance needed Latest start date 2023-08-07 Enter the expected contract length: 3 months Are you prepared to show your budget details?: Yes Indicative maximum: 80000 Indicative minimum: 70000 Confirm if you require a contracted out service or supply of resource Contracted out service: the off-payroll rules do not apply Summary of work The work includes: - Audit of current council use of housing technology - Map of core technology functionalities and service requirements for a housing management system Synthesis of existing discoveries - Defining regulatory requirements (which are still being defined) - Consolidate key insights from HACT open data standards and government technology standards - Identify what could be better standardised to deliver better value for local authorities and develop key hypotheses for an alpha - Understanding of current procurement processes for local authorities and housing technology Where the supplied staff will work London Who the organisation using the products or services is Local Councils across the Local Digital Fund Why the work is being done This DLUHC Local Digital discovery aims to help local authorities improve how they work with technology providers, increasing interoperability and choice, creating collective buying power, with the backdrop of reduced local government funding.
