Hackney Economic Development Plan

Tender description

The London Borough of Hackney is seeking quotations for the delivery of consultancy support to produce an Economic Development Plan for the borough. Broadly the document’s purpose is to articulate: -What economic development looks like in the Hackney context of delivering a more inclusive economy within the wider city and sub-regional functional economic area. - Our available levers as a borough, within the wider economic context, and how we will utilise those to deliver different elements of this plan. - The sub-borough level spatial element where growth and/or specific initiatives and ways of working in our town centres, high streets and industrial estates can be used to create a more inclusive economy. - The projected business growth sectors most relevant to our borough, their current or likely locations and what we will do to maximise the inclusive economy opportunities of those sectors. Coherent and realistic economic development delivery of an inclusive economy in the borough over the short, medium and long-term with an associated measurement framework to track impact.
