The provision and management of a Family Hubs and Start for Life parent carer panel in Medway

Medway Council is one of 75 eligible Local Authorities taking part in the Family Hubs and Start for Life programme in England https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/family-hubs-and-start-for-life-programme There are specific requirements and timelines for delivering against aspects of the programme as set out in the Family Hubs and Start for Life framework and service expectations https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/family-hubs-and-start-for-life-programme-local-authority-guide Medway Council are looking to commission an organisation to establish and manage a Family Hubs and Start for Life Parent & Carer Panel for Medway to work with the contracting authority and local commissioners to co-design and evaluate services – helping to ensure that babies and their families are at the centre of service design and delivery. This is a two year piece of work that will need to be develop and delivered iteratively alongside mobilisation and delivery of the programme locally. This will include working closely with key colleagues in Medway Council, delivering to a tight time frame to ensure the voices of parents and carers inform development and delivery of the local Family Hubs and Start for Life offer.
