Tender description
The London Borough of Merton (“the Authority”) is seeking to undertake a procurement exercise to commission a fully digitalised call handling solution for the management of telecare, lone worker, telehealth and all of the telecare alarm equipment in use in customers’ homes in Merton borough. The MASCOT Telecare Service supports Merton older residents to live independently in their homes through the provision of an accessible alarm system that alerts the Council’s call handling and response centre in times of need. The MASCOT Telecare Service is based at Civic Centre and managed by Merton employees. MASCOT Telecare Team is responsible for day to day operations including installation of equipment in residents’ homes, promotion and development of the service whereas the telecare software/platform provider is responsible for installation and maintenance of the Telecare equipment including the software and training of our MASCOT Telecare staff team.
