Supplier Engagement Event Thursday 8th June 14:00 Online Event The 3 Authorities are looking to engage a supplier to carry out the servicing and maintenance of certain equipment used as part of the delivery of each of the Council’s Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES). Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire require a supplier to carry out all of their servicing and maintenance needs, with Ceredigion only requiring an out of hours provision. To register your interest please email CRCorporateProcurement@carmarthenshire.gov.uk Lot 1: Service & Maintenance contract for Community Equipment Services at Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire with out of hours support for Ceredigion Supplier Engagement Event Thursday 8th June 14:00 Online Event The 3 Authorities are looking to engage a supplier to carry out the servicing and maintenance of certain equipment used as part of the delivery of each of the Council’s Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES). Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire require a supplier to carry out all of their servicing and maintenance needs, with Ceredigion only requiring an out of hours provision. As certain equipment needs regular, specific inspection and servicing (in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and the HSE LOLER and PUWER legislation), the supplier will carry out this servicing either where it is being used or at one of the ICES’ respective equipment stores or community settings (e.g. Care Homes, Education Establishments, etc) this will only be required for Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. The supplier will also attend to the breakdown of equipment where it takes place with the intention of resolving any problems and ensuring the equipment is fully functional again. It is expected that as breakdowns can occur at any time, the supplier must be able to respond to such events at any time of the day or night, any day of the year. This provision for out of hours support (i.e. outside of standard office hours) will be for all three Authorities. The successful supplier will also ensure that all paperwork, including service and maintenance records and ongoing service schedules are kept up to date and available to each ICES when required. The successful supplier will be expected to update and electronic database for all of the equipment that will be serviced and maintained. Electronic copies of the service document to be scanned into this shared IT system. Prior to this, the Three Authorities will be holding a Supplier Engagement event online on the 8th June 2023 in order to inform and engage with potential and current suppliers on the services we are seeking to procure. This event will also provide an opportunity for you to ask questions in relation to the procurement of the print and signage provision and provide tender support to individual businesses if required.
