Tender description
Wokingham Borough Council is currently seeking providers views on the best way to deliver respite care in people’s own homes. Unpaid carers who need a break from their caring responsibilities may often be reluctant to book care, or unsure how to do so. Wokingham Borough Council is considering setting up and promoting an approved providers list for respite care, and would like to engage with potential organisations that may be interested in providing this support. We would like to run one to one event and our proposed dates will be Monday 5th June and Wednesday 7th June. we would like you to send us your preferred date and time please so we can send your meeting invitation details. Further information on the scope of the discussions will be issued closer to the event date but is likely to include funding, carers needs, and referral routes.
